Our trainers develop personalised workouts and training plans that are tailored to your personal goals (e.g. more flexibility, strength, fitness) and your life circumstances – and above all are feasible and achievable in terms of time. As a result, our personal trainers keep the most important thing for your training at the top: motivation!

With the help of continuous professional guidance – and extensive support in terms of time – you will make faster progress and maximise your training performance.


One session – 60 minutes at €95 each – is ideal for trying out personal training. You can achieve lasting effects from 10 sessions.

Personal training: extra-long sessions just for you

At the Sportentrum Nuremberg, we take extra time for you: each session lasts 60 minutes. This valuable time is yours alone. Our trainers pay attention to you, your daily form and adherence to your plans. Every session is fully focussed on you and your successful training.

Of course, the duration of the sessions can also be individually adjusted, extended, or shortened.


The initial consultation is also generously timed, with a discounted price of €40. After that, training starts as normal.

Personal Training – Process

At our Sportcentrum, there is always an initial consultation in which we take a lot of time to get to know you, your fitness and physical condition as well as your goals.

The first appointment consists mainly of

  • Body analysis
  • depending on requirements, mobility analysis
  • Medical history: previous injury, medication
  • Goals and motivation, long-term and short-term
  • First rough timetable and appointment arrangement Consideration of your feasibility
  • Discussion of sporting preferences / habits
  • Possibly already performing two or three exercises together

Based on your goals, your life circumstances and your health, our personal trainers will create a personalised and tailored training plan for you. This plan will be adapted during the personal training session if necessary.

When drawing up the training plan, we are guided by your preferences. The plan focuses on one or two areas or consists of a varied mix of different disciplines – depending on your goals

The training level and intensity depend on your personal requirements. If you are stressed at work, for example, you might use personal training to switch off. Others prefer a ‘boot camp’ style workout. We’ll tailor our programme to you.

The aim of personal training is – in addition to achieving your sporting goals – to inspire you and introduce you to areas of fitness that you may not yet be familiar with.

Each session of your personal training consists of a joint workout. The personal trainer will give you tips on how to perform the exercises correctly. Your training and progress will be closely monitored and the training will be continuously adapted to keep you motivated and having fun.

It should be mentioned, even if you probably already realise it: In personal training, we provide you with the structure, the framework and the professional guidance and motivation to help you achieve your goals. Ultimately, however, it all comes down to your commitment and ‘co-operation’.

The body analysis

At each appointment, we repeat the body analysis that we carried out during the initial consultation. This will also result in adjustments to your training if necessary – and ideally additional motivation as soon as you see your first successes!

At the end of your personal training session, we will summarise together: what has been achieved, how are you feeling now, will you continue with personal training or will you continue on your own?

In either case, you will receive a summary of the exercises from the personal training session. If you continue training on your own, you will benefit from your individual plan and further support at Sportcentrum Nürnberg, even if the training continues on your own responsibility and without guidance from the personal trainer.

After about 3-4 months, it makes sense to create a new training plan. Of course, we will also support you with this.

TANITA’s bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) is a particularly useful element of nutritional advice at the Sportcentrum Nuremberg. With the help of a special body analysis scale, the body composition can be measured in a very differentiated way and thus progress can be optimally measured and continuously improved.

How the BIA technology works

A weak, safe electrical signal is sent through the body. Depending on the resistance and factors such as age, height and gender, the scale determines meaningful measurements such as Body fat percentage, visceral fat, body water percentage, muscle mass, muscle distribution, body composition value, bone mass, basal metabolic rate, metabolic age. Our team of trainers will be happy to provide you with further information.

Great if you are enthusiastic about the Peloton Bike and are considering using it as part of a personal training programme. It is generally possible to integrate the Peloton into your personal training programme at Sportcentrum Nuremberg. You are welcome to discuss with your personal trainer whether this makes sense with regard to your sporting goals – and to what extent and in what way.

Personal training allows for individual 1:1 support. The training is very specific to your needs and goals and is much more closely and detailed to you and your training progress. Personal training offers individual attention, guidance and motivation from a trainer.

With a regular 10-er pass for the gym, you have free access to all areas of the gym, i.e. the areas for strength training, cardio and functional training. For personal training, you can purchase a separate 10-er pass.
